This was taken at a VE party or a Labour Day

party in or around 1950 or 51. David Manton is in the front row with the

sailor’s uniform on. He's got his dad’s war medals on. He was about 4 or 5 at the time.
His brother said it was at the theatre in Tylers Ave. The old London pub was on the

corner, next to that the fire station and then the theatre. They used to have

pantos there. It’s all been pulled down now. He honestly don't know if

anyone else from Wakering was there. Anyone got any ideas?
