Peters Home Stores was situated at 125 Shoebury Road, Great Wakering, on the east side, close to Seaview Drive. John Peters’ aunt, Audrey Peters (now Audrey Peters MBE, aged 82) is pictured outside the Baptist Mission Hall which is next door to Peters Home Stores. Audrey stands with a group of children.
